On a rainy afternoon, the body of the young Catalina Salgado is buried in the old cemetery.
Her young widower, Felipe, can barely stand up because of the pain. From a distance, Alejandro Perdomo, a young rebel everyone fears, looks at the situation full of anger. They have prohibited him from entering the cemetery. And their subsequent actions will show that the Salgados have reasons for them.
That night, Alejandro steals Catalina’s body. Then, he takes her on his motorcycle to a nearby wasteland, which always had a special meaning for them.
There he hugs her, between tears, swearing that he will fulfill the promise not to be separated from her, not even after death. In that place, the police find him, alerted by the vigilantes of the cemetery, and he is arrested. In jail, Catalina’s spirit visits him, fulfilling his promise to continue by his side, even beyond the death of either of them.
